She obtained her ASLTA certified certification, ASL 184 content certification, ASLPI, and ASL-TASC. She wrote a thesis \u201cBeliefs of ASL Teachers in Texas: Fingerspelling Tools and Uses\u201d in 2011. She has been teaching different tools and usages of fingerspelling in Fingerspelling course, and ASL levels since 2006.
