Programs and Courses
Two Associate of Applied Science Degrees are offered:
A.A.S. in General Human Services
This area of study allows for the greatest flexibility for working in the social services profession. Students have opportunities for elective courses within the degree plan and can select internships from a broad array of social services.
A.A.S. in Addictions Counseling
This area of study prepares the student who wishes to work in substance abuse prevention and treatment.
One Advanced Technical Certificate is offered:
Addictions Counseling Certificate
This advanced certificate provides the coursework and practicum hours necessary for the individual holding an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a non-social/behavioral science area who plans to sit for the state licensing exam in order to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).
