The ASLIT Department features a majority of Deaf, native-signing faculty, creating an immersive ASL learning environment. Most courses are delivered directly in ASL to support clear, accessible communication. Our curriculum incorporates interpreter-training best practices and helps students develop the skills needed for success in the professional interpreting field.
